Arrival and Accommodation
Arriving in Kofu by train from Tokyo
From Tokyo Station or Shinjuku Station, take the JR Chuo Line Limited Express “Azusa” or “Kaiji” bound for Kofu or Matsumoto. The ride takes about 90 minutes to Kofu Station. Both services are covered by the Japan Rail Pass.
Arriving in Kofu by highway bus
From Shinjuku Expressway Bus Terminal (BUSTA Shinjuku), take a highway bus bound for Kofu Station. The trip takes around 2 hours, and buses depart frequently throughout the day. Tickets can be purchased online or at the terminal.
From airports (Haneda/Narita)
From Haneda or Narita Airport, you can either take a direct highway bus to Kofu Station (about 3–3.5 hours), or take a train or limousine bus to Tokyo or Shinjuku, then transfer to the JR Chuo Line Limited Express bound for Kofu Station.

Staying near Kofu Station is the most convenient option for accessing transportation, restaurants, and local attractions. A wide range of business hotels and inns can be found around the east and south exits of the station.
